I needed a little time to reflect on what we just went through. I am back in the office and tomorrow I will be operating on someone who is in extreme pain that was scheduled before I left for trial.

Your friendship means everything to me. Doctors are out of our realm in the law arena. I feel so lucky that you represent me in these actions. I will continue to try to be as good a surgeon as you are as a attorney. The good you do is immeasurable. More words will not be necessary to express my admiration of you. Though the trial last year was stressful, you and your team were so comforting to me and I honestly found it a God given blessing. I walked away feeling protected.
